The Price Fluctuation Analytics is a data-driven initiative developed by the Learning and Knowledge Infrastructure (LKI), IIIT Bangalore, in collaboration with the NITI for States initiative of NITI Aayog. The project aims to support evidence-based agricultural planning by integrating production, market arrival, demand, and other relevant datasets into a unified analytical framework.

The project has been designed to assist policymakers, agricultural departments, researchers, and administrators in understanding the factors influencing price fluctuations across states and over time. By combining state-level production and market information with estimated availability and demand, the analytical framework enables the identification of periods of supply stress, assessment of supply-demand imbalances, and exploration of their relationship with prices.
